Dr. Marc Fruithandler

“Doctor Marc” earned his Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition from Texas A&M University and went on to earn his DDS from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. From there, he completed his residency at the LSU School of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in New Orleans. Although he loves his home state of Texas and its people, he fell in love with Louisiana and is now creating confident smiles for our patients here in Slidell.

Board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and an American Association of Orthodontists member, Dr. Marc doesn’t just “treat” patients with the unmatched skill of a professional and artist. He also truly, deeply cares for all his patients, living out Teddy Roosevelt’s famous philosophy of “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.”

When he’s not making a positive and lasting impact on our patients’ lives, you can find him enjoying our unique city’s food and coffee scene. He might also be down for a pickup basketball game—or you can try to challenge him to a dance-off. Just be warned: he’s a member of the legendary 610 Stompers, so you better be ready with more than your “floss.”
