Dr. Ruby Thuy-Huy Nhan, known to her patients as Dr. Ruby, grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. As an orthodontist, she is always eager to take care of her patients and help them achieve their most beautiful and confident smiles.
Dr. Ruby received her undergraduate degree from Xavier University and attended the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry where she earned her doctorate and master’s degrees. She completed a one-year general practice residency at University Hospital and later finished her orthodontic specialty residency.
As a student, Dr. Ruby served as an officer of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. Dr. Ruby remains involved in her alma mater through continuing education and serves as a member of the Dental Admissions Committee at LSU’s School of Dentistry and the American Association of Orthodontists.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
Dr. Ruby is the sweetest orthodontist! She really cares for her patients and explains every procedure done at each appointment. She also gives me a chance to ask all the questions I have thoroughly. I highly recommend everyone to schedule an appointment with Dr. Ruby because is awesome!

This doctor is really sweet. Her and the staff are always friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. DEFINITELY recommend to people wanting to have a beautiful smile.
